About MSIF

Merseyside Special Investment Fund has funds totalling £107m and provides loans and equity packages from £3,000-£4million to businesses based in or relocating to Merseyside. All our investments come with a range of quality, money-saving support services designed to add real value to your business and maximise the chance of success.

Almost all sectors are eligible and we will look at start-ups, expansions, MBOs, MBIs, acquisitions, mergers and rescue. MSIF often works alongside other finance providers such as banks, VCs and other insititutions and can put together a finance package to meet your needs.

MSIF was a unique concept when it was set up in 1996.

Since then its success has meant that the model has been replicated in other parts of the UK and over 1000 Merseyside businesses have benefitted from MSIF backing.
